Katsina state Police commissioner dies


The Nigeria Police has announced the death of Alhaji Muhammad Hurdi (pictured middle above), the Katsina State commissioner of police. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Aminu Sadiq announced the demise of Hurdi in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday in Katsina.

BREAKING NEWS "ELECTION CONTINUE TODAY; 29th march ,2015. INEC"


The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reacted to the critical situation with the inability of many people to vote during today.
According to the commission, movement restrictions during the second day of voting in the Presidential and National Assembly elections on March 29, Sunday, remain.



INEC has adopted manual accreditation in polling units where card readers did not work or worked very late. They also announced that arrangements will be made for voters who couldn't vote today to vote tomorrow Sunday March 29th. See the tweets after the cut...
